Vaibhav made his First 100 in a Massive Chase against GT
Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old sensation, is taking over the IPL by storm with his maiden century in a big chase against the Gujarat Titans. The left-handed opening batsman scored the fastest 100 by an Indian in IPL’s history. It took Vaibhav only 35 deliveries to reach the three-figure mark in just his third match in the Indian Premier League.
Gujarat Titans had already posted a huge total on the board. Once again, the top three contributed to the 2023 champions. Rajasthan needed a win to keep their playoff hopes alive. They did it in style.
Another impressive opening partnership for GT
Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan have been the most dominant opening pair this season. This duo has helped their side to a big total in most matches. Rajasthan bowlers were unable to provide the first breakthrough early. This led to another big partnership.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi -Jaiswal helped RR in a massive chase
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Suryavanshi were up against two senior Indian bowlers. Mohammad Siraj and Ishant Sharma were ready to teach these youngsters a lesson. However, these two had other ideas. After struggling a bit against RCB, Vaibhav was not letting this opportunity go. Both players took charge at the opening bowlers and added 87 runs in the powerplay. Ishant Sharma was on the brink of dismissing Jaiswal in the second over of the innings, but Buttler dropped a very high catch to give life to his former opening partner.

RR were already in the driving seat after a big powerplay. The scoring never stopped. Rashid Khan was captaining Gujarat after Shubman Gill gave way to the impact sub. The Afghanistan spinner was the only bowler who was not smashed in his four overs. He only gave away 24 runs in four overs and took a wicket.
Vaibhav and Jaiswal added 166 runs for the first wicket. This young duo took just 71 balls to reach this mark. Prasidh Krishna bowled a superb yorker to take out the young fellow. Suryavanshi was bowled on 101 in an innings that witnessed 11 sixes. Nitish Rana was dismissed on a single figure. Riyan Parag added a finishing touch by smashing 32 runs in just 15 balls. RR chased the target with eight wickets and 25 balls in hand.
