Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav took charge of the innings, hitting boundaries as if in a video game. India raced to 82 runs in the powerplay, setting the stage for a mammoth total. Post-powerplay, both batters continued to swing freely, with Samson showcasing his full range of strokes. He smashed Rishad Hossain for five sixes in the 10th over and brought up his maiden T20I century in the 13th over.
Samson was dismissed for a well-made 111 off 47 balls which included 8 sixes and 11 fours. SKY played the supporting role in the Indian Inning and scored a solid 75 off 35 balls with 5 sixes and 8 fours.

Late fireworks from Riyan Parag (34 off 13) and Hardik Pandya (47 off 18) added the finishing touches, pushing India to a massive 297. This was also the highest-ever T20I total by a Test-playing nation, with only Nepal scoring more (314 against Mongolia). It was a tough outing for the Bangladeshi bowlers, as they all conceded heavily and none of them were able to dominate the Indian batters.
