Transforming Gujarat’s Digital Landscape: Krafton and TransStadia’s Strategic MoU Ignites Esports and Gaming Revolution in India
A few days ago, the state government of Gujarat signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with leading South Korean video game development company Krafton, the developer behind the famous Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). This comes as part of its effort to collaborate to improve the technology, gaming, and esports ecosystem of the state. It has now entered into a partnership with TransStadia Technologies Private Limited, a leading company in sports and entertainment infrastructure operations.
It is not a new game for Krafton in the Indian Gaming market; they were a huge game-changer with the success of BGMI and brought millions of eyes to Indian Gaming. Partnership with the government of Gujarat will go a long way in igniting a transformative change in local esports and providing the much-needed oxygen to the state’s ambition of leading interactive and indigenous esports activities. Home Minister of Gujarat, Harsh Sanghavi said that the venture brings huge potential that will work as a catalyst for making Gujarat a major center of esports. The partnership is set to motivate the huge gaming fraternity of youth in the region.
