UP Yoddhas and Patna Pirates entered into the PKL 11 Semis
UP Yoddhas and Patna Pirates have secured their spots in the last four of Pro Kabaddi League season 11. The playoff round concluded with their dominating performances, joining Haryana Steelers and Dabang Delhi in the semi-finals. The two matches played in Pune showcased the Yoddhas’ and Pirates’ superiority.
UP Yoddhas outrun Jaipur Pink Panthers
UP Yoddhas were up against the two-time champions, Jaipur Pink Panthers. Yoddhas were the favorites to advance to the last four. They showed their domination from the word go. Bhavani Rajput led his side to an easy 46-18 win. 18 tackle and raid points each along with four all-outs helped Yoddhas to book a semi-final berth. Jaipur were no match for their opponent.

Bhavani Rajput with a super 10
Yoddhas saw their star raider taking charge of the game. Bhavani Rajput delivered a match-winning performance as he collected 12 points on the night. 11 raid points and one tackle point helped his side to a comfortable win.
Hitesh stood as a pillar in the defense as he managed to secure six tackle points on the night. Sumit and Gagan Gowda added five points each in this massive win for the Yoddhas.
Jaipur players struggled to make an impact, especially, their star raider Arjun Deshwal. He failed to take any raid points on the night and ended with just two bonus points. Reza Mirbagheri managed five points. He was Jaipur’s highest point scorer. Overall, every player in the pink jersey showed signs of struggle and UP took advantage of this.

Pirates end U Mumba’s dreams
Patna Pirates and U Mumba contested the other playoff match. Both teams have some big names in their squad but it was Patna Pirates who finished at the top. Pirates won 31-23 in a high-intensity match. The winning team managed to get the only all out of the game. They also collected two more points in the raiding and tackling department. This led to a semi-final berth for the Pirates.
Ayan and Devank’s match-winning performance
Ayan and Devank proved to be the game-changers for the Pirates. Ayan collected 10 points, with nine coming from raids. His offensive partner, Devank managed eight raid points on the night. Gurdeep also added five tackle points on the night.

Amirmohammad Zafardanesh added seven points for U Mumba. He collected six points from the raid and one point from the defense. Ajit Chavan also added five points from raids but was unable to change the game for his side.
Who will play in the semis?
Last season’s runners-up, Haryana Steelers will be up against the UP Yoddhas in the first semi. Haryana finished at the top of the table and had last season’s best defender, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh in their team. They will look to make back-to-back finals.
In the second semi-final, Dabang Delhi will take on the most successful team in PKL history, Patna Pirates. All four teams will look to end the season with the trophy. There could be a new winner in PKL.
