LSG Stun Titans, Abhishek Destroys Punjab In an Epic Chase
On Saturday, LSG hosted the Gujarat Titans in the first match of a thrilling IPL 2025 double header. GT aimed to extend their unbeaten run to five matches. In the evening clash, SRH looked to bounce back to form against the in-form PBKS.
Both results went in the home team’s favour. LSG registered their fourth win of the season and ended GT’s run. SRH also managed to chase a mammoth total in the evening match. Here are the results of both these matches.
Gill, Sudarshan shine, but the middle order fails
GT has been dependent on their top order to score runs. Sai Sudarshan and Gill have delivered in every match. Jos Buttler has added experience and a lot of runs. In the first five matches, Sudarshan averages 55, Gill averages 42, and Buttler averages 44.

Both openers fell in the 13th and 14th over. These wickets restricted the scoring. Buttler failed to add a big total this time and the rest of the batters found it difficult to time the ball. Gujarat managed to put 180 runs on the board.
LSG: Markram, Pooran lead chase
LSG were without the dangerous Mitchell Marsh for this game. Rishabh Pant opened the innings along with Markram. The South African looked in better touch, but Pant’s struggle continued. He managed to score 21 runs. Markram continued his good form and scored 58 in 31 balls.
Nicolas Pooran once again was the star of the show with the bat. He scored 61 runs in just 34 balls and managed to hit seven sixes. LSG chased the target with six wickets in hand.
PBKS & SRH play high-scoring contest

Abhishek was on a different level. He smashed a 40-ball century and went on to score 141 runs. He smashed 10 sixes at a strike rate of 256.
