CSK And SRH ends IPL 2025 with big wins
CSK and SRH failed to make it to the knockout stage in IPL 2025, but both teams ended their season on a high. These two teams earned big-margin wins over their opponents in the final group game.
CSK played against the top of the table team, Gujarat Titans, in the afternoon game. Later, SRH went up against KKR in the evening game. Gujarat was the only team among these four that made it to the last four.
CSK: All-round performance outclasses GT
Mahendra Singh Dhoni led CSK for the final time in his career. This might have been his last game for the team in yellow. His team batted first and posted a huge total on the board. Ayush Mhatre started the innings well. He smashed 28 runs in the second over to give his side a fast start. His opening partner, Devon Conway, went to hit a half-century.
Urvil Patel came down to play a quickfire innings of 37 in 19 balls. Dewald Brevis stole the show towards the end with a 57-run knock in just 23 balls. CSK posted 230 runs for the loss of five wickets. Gujarat Titans were dependent on their top order in this massive change. Gill was the first player to depart. Buttler and Rutherford followed him, leaving Gujarat in a spot of bother.

Sai Sudarshan was the only impressive batter for the home team. He scored 41 runs, but his team was no match for CSK’s bowling. Noor Ahmed and Anshul Kamboj took three wickets each and helped CSK to an 83-run win. The team in yellow ended their season at the bottom of the table. GT won’t be ending their campaign at the top.
Klaasen, Head sinks KKR
SRH were the most dominant team with the bat last season. However, this was a season to forget for Pat Cummins and his men. Despite winning their last three matches, SRH were eliminated from the competition.

The team in orange went off in style. Batting first, SRH posted 278 runs on the board for the loss of three wickets. Travis Head scored 76 runs, but Klaasen stole the show with his 105-run knock in just 39 balls. There were contributions from Abhishek and Kishan. This whole innings comprised 22 fours and 19 sixes.
SRH Humble KKR in Crushing 110-Run Win
All KKR bowlers had a bad day at the office. Only Vaibhav Arora conceded less than 10 runs per over. Sunil Narine started the chase with some counter-attacking batting. The all-rounder smashed 31 runs in just 16 balls. There were a lot of failures in the top and middle orders. Manish Pandey was the highest scorer with 37 runs.
Harshit Rana played a cameo of 34, which helped KKR reach a decent total of 168 runs. SRH won by 110 runs. Jaydev Unadkat, Harsh Dubey, and Eshan Malinga ended the innings with three wickets each. These two were the finalists from last season. SRH finished the campaign in sixth place, and KKR ended in eighth place.
