The innings continued in a similar manner, with Scotland losing wickets but scoring runs intermittently. Sean Abbott, Zampa, and Bartlett shared 7 wickets among them.
Travis Head, the Hero of the Powerplay:
Chasing 155, Australia would have felt very comfortable, but there was a calm before the storm as Fraser-McGurk was dismissed for a duck, leaving Australia at 0 for 1. Travis Head then joined skipper Marsh, and the real carnage began. From 0/1, both batters took the score to 113/1 in just 6 overs. They went aggressively against the Scotland bowlers and set a record for the highest score in the powerplay.

Marsh scored 39 off just 12 balls, while Head scored 80 off 25 balls, including 5 maximums. Both Marsh and Head were dismissed in the 7th over by Mark Watt. Australia finished the match in just 9.4 overs, with Jos Inglis and Stoinis completing the chase. Inglis also made a quick 27 off 13 balls.

Travis Head was named Player of the Match for his powerful performance. Both teams will meet again on the 6th for the 2nd game of the series. The Australian team has been playing some really aggressive brand of cricket and with Head Mcgurk and Marsh at the top this team looks really destructive. Scotland is surely going to have a hard time challenging this Aussie Unit.
