Real Madrid began their season with style after winning the UEFA Super Cup 2-0 against Atalanta. Kylian Mbappe led the attack for the Los Blancos and scored on his competitive debut for the new club. The Spanish side won their sixth Super Cup title. This match is played between the winners of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. This win adds another trophy to Real Madrid’s elite cabinet. Luka Modric also became the most decorated player in the club’s history with 27 titles to his name. Real Madrid will once again be a team to watch out for in the 2024-25 season.
