Indian Premier League kicks off tomorrow
The 17th season of the most celebrated cricket league in the world the “Indian Premier League” starts tomorrow at the MA Chidambaram Stadium where the defending champions Chennai Super Kings take against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. India’s most successful captain M.S. Dhoni will also take the field tomorrow after a year.

CSK who has won the title 5 times will again take the field to prove their metal once again. CSK on paper looks strong with the kind of combinations they have also the addition of Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra will add more Kiwi flavor to their unit after Conway and Santner.
On the other hand, RCB has never won a single title till now. Their female unit RCBW won their maiden Women’s Premier League title last Sunday. After their win, the pressure on the men’s unit of RCB has increased further to deliver this season. Additions like Cameron Green will surely boost their unit.
Looking at the pre-tournament odds Mumbai Indians sit at the top. MI did a good job in the trading window as well as in the auction. They brought their hard-hitting All–rounder Hardik Pandya back and have also swapped captaincy for him with Rohit Sharma. MI like every year looks rock solid on paper which makes them favourites in the market.
Chennai Super Kings are the 2nd favorite team the return of Thala Mahendra Singh Dhoni and some smart buys at the auction CSK have laid a strong foundation once again and are ready for the 17th season once again.
MI and CSK are followed by Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. GT will be missing the services of their ex–skipper Pandya and their main fast bowler Mohd. Shami who has been out of action after the 2023 World Cup. GT will be playing with a new and young captain Shubman Gill who has proved himself with the bat but will need to prove his
