India’s Victory Over Bangladesh: A Remarkable Show by Jadeja
India’s Cricket Team was looking for a clean sweep against Bangladesh in a two-match test series. However, they received a huge setback when the play was stopped on the first day due to bad weather. To add to their misery, day 2 and day 3 were also canceled due to the poor playing conditions.
Both teams waited two and a half days before the play resumed on day 4. Bangladesh was batting first and posted 107 runs for the loss of 3 wickets at the end of day 1.
Mominul scores ton
India took five overs to get the 4th breakthrough. Jasprit Bumrah bowled Mushfiqur Rahim. Mominul Haque stood at the opposite end. He tried to partner with Litton Das, Shakib Al Hasan, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz. None of these players were able to score big runs. Haque saw seven wickets falling in front of him. The former Bangladesh skipper managed to score 107 runs and the team ended their innings on 233 runs.

Jadeja takes 300 wickets in test.
Jasprit Bumrah led the attack in the first inning with three wickets. Mohammed Siraj, Ravi Ashwin, and Akash Deep chipped in with a couple of wickets each. Ravindra Jadeja was on 299 test wickets before the test match. The all-rounder took the last wicket and became the seventh Indian to reach this mark.
Rohit & Jaiswal destroy Bangladesh’s attack
India came to bat and showed their intent from the start. Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal went all guns blazing. The duo scored 51 runs in just 3 overs. This was the fastest team 50 in test cricket. The skipper got out when the team was on 55 runs. He scored 23 of 11 deliveries.
India’s boys continue to pile up records
Shubman Gill came with the same intention. The duo created a 70-run partnership before Jaiswal was dismissed on 72 runs. This was the fourth fastest fist in test cricket by an Indian batsman.

India scored 100 in just 10.1 overs. This was another record in test cricket. Gill was the next person to go and Rishabh Pant followed him.
Virat Kohli and KL Rahul stood at the crease. India reached 200 runs in 24.4 overs creating another record. The duo created an 87-run partnership before Kohli got out on 47. Virat reached the 27,000 runs mark in international cricket. KL Rahul held the innings for some time. He was stumped on 68 runs of just 43 balls. The hosts also reached another milestone as they scored the fastest 250 in 30.1 overs.

India declared on 283 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Shakib Al Hasan took four wickets each.
Bangladesh was put to bat for the second time on day 4. After surviving 7 overs, Ashwin took the first wicket. He also removed the night watchman, Hasan Mahmud. Bangladesh ended the day on 26 for the loss of two wickets. India came with an intent to win the test match and they were successful on day 4 of the second test match.
